Welcome to Nevada!

I finally decided it was time to put up a blog about life and adventures in northern Nevada, around the Carson City/Gardnerville area. What a great place to live! I can play in the Sierras, the Pine Nuts or the Sweetwater mountains. The air is clean, taxes are reasonable and the area is a haven for all sorts of folks who treasure the 2nd amendment. Nevada is a 'shall issue' state for concealed carry permits, and open carry is legal without a permit. There are scads of little known, backcountry roads with old ghost towns and mines scattered around.
